Your role

As a trainee in the Digital Content team you will:

prepare content and film videos for the ECB’s social media channels;

contribute to the team’s understanding of the social media landscape and identify the most effective channels for us to reach our target audiences;

actively contribute to various ongoing projects, such as writing plain-language explainers for the web;

help produce The ECB Podcast, drafting scripts and finding potential interviewees.

Qualifications, experience and skills

Essential:

a bachelor’s degree or higher in international relations, politics, economics, finance, journalism, communications, media studies, graphic design, psychology or another relevant field;

strong presentation and writing skills, and the ability to make complex concepts easy to understand for the target audience;

a sound understanding of the ECB and its main tasks, as well as a basic understanding of monetary policy, banking supervision and economics;

experience in creating content for social media, including creating and editing video content;

a good understanding of current trends in digital communications;

a good knowledge of the MS Office package;

an advanced (C1) command of English and an intermediate (B1) command of at least one other official language of the EU, according to the .
