Trainee (m/f/d) Finance & Controlling

Your area of responsibility as a trainee (m/f/d) Finance & Controlling

• Participation in financial management: You will support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and gain in-depth insights into the financial and operational performance of our company.
• Design of the planning processes: Whether it's a budget or a forecast – your cooperation is needed. You will create plans, analyze deviations, identify trends and provide valuable decision-making templates for management.
• Making processes better: You will take responsibility for the analysis, further development and optimisation of central controlling processes – your ideas will drive us forward.
• Data-based decision-making with real advantage: A special plus with us is that we have our own, highly qualified data & analytics team, with whom you will work closely. Together, you will create ad-hoc analyses, prepare complex data in our analytics tools and develop meaningful reports for management. This not only teaches you modern analysis methods first-hand, but also actively shapes data-driven decisions.
• Project work with impact: You will be involved in cross-departmental projects – e.g. as a project controller, to coordinate planning processes or to open up new data domains to expand our analysis capabilities. In the process, you will learn how strategic controlling works in a corporate context.

What you bring to the table as a trainee (m/f/d) Finance & Controlling

• You have a degree in business administration, economics or a comparable course of study with a focus on finance/controlling.
• Ideally, you already have some practical experience through internships or working student activities in the field of finance or controlling.
• You have excellent analytical thinking skills, a structured way of working and a high understanding of numbers.
• You are proficient in MS Excel, may already have some experience with planning systems for forecast and budget planning, and very good German and English skills. For this program, you will have excellent German language skills at CEFR C1 level or higher and will have the opportunity to demonstrate your language skills during the selection process
• Initial knowledge of data analysis, statistics and programming desirable (e.g. Python, R, SQL).
