A R T’s approach is rooted in close collaboration and personalized service, ensuring each project is tailored to the client’s vision and OVERVIEWWe are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented PR & Communications Trainee to join our team who will support the day-to-day management of various projects and contribute to the planning and delivery of high-impact press campaigns. The ideal candidate is passionate about contemporary art, design, and architecture, and naturally curious about the cultural conversations shaping these fields today. They enjoy writing, storytelling, have a strong interest in how ideas are communicated and positioned, and are eager to contribute strategically and creatively to the execution of PR campaigns. The trainee will have the opportunity to support in core aspects of PR—including content writing and development, research, brand positioning, and media outreach. This is a hands-on, immersive role within a small team, offering direct involvement in campaign work and meaningful insight into strategic cultural communication. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES•Assist in the execution of press campaigns• Draft press materials, including press releases, announcements, and newsletters• Research and pitch relevant journalists, editors, and publications• Build and maintain A R T’s master media list specific to client needs and company goals• Monitor media coverage, compile press clippings, and develop detailed reports• Support in the preparation of client meetings, including agendas and notes• Support in the coordination of interviews, media previews, and press visits• Research and keep up to date with art news, cultural and media trends• Research new business opportunities and perform outreach to relevant targets• Keep team systems and documents up-to-date and well-organised• Regularly update A R T website features and content• Provide counsel on improvements for A R T digital channels (including A R T website, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts)• Perform market analyses and research • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from digital channels• Plan and manage A R T social media presence• Produce, post, and promote stories and publicationsREQUIREMENTS• A strong interest in public relations, media, and communications within the arts and cultural sector• Basic knowledge and curiosity about the international media landscape, especially in art, design, and lifestyle publications• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. (Knowledge of German and other languages is beneficial.)• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute• Enthusiasm for contemporary art, design, architecture, and cultural storytelling• Independent self-starter; ambitious hard-worker• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to multitask• Interest in writing, research, and strategy as part of the communication process• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Gmail, Adobe.
