Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Trainee with a background in software programming to join our 15 software and test engineer's team in Berlin. This position is ideal for students who have a foundational understanding of object oriented programming and are familiar with the Safran Group's internal tools. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing automation software, enhancing efficiency, and supporting innovative projects across various departments.

Job Requirements

We expect people with experience in object-oriented programming and a passion for software development. Familiarity with the Python programming language, including the following libraries: Tkinter, Pandas, openpyxl and Pywin32 are requested.

Knowledge of following technologies is required:
- Python 3.12 or newer
- Docstring
- YAML
- JSON
- UML

An understanding of processes used within the Safran Group (i.e SQCDPI, QRQC etc.) is mandatory.
A knowledge of the Scrum Agile methodology, is a big plus.

As a valued member of our team, you'll take part in daily in-office stand-ups and collaborate closely with mid-level developers and other trainees. Beyond writing code, you'll dive into real-world software practices like code reviews, pair programming, and crafting clear, professional architecture and documentation in English.
