Your role

As a trainee in the ECB Visitor Centre team you will:
  • help to plan and coordinate the of the ECB Visitor Centre, including Visitor Centre tours, lectures and tours of the main building (both onsite and virtually); 
  • conduct guided tours of the ECB Visitor Centre and explain the tasks and functions of the ECB to visitor groups from all over the world;
  • support the Visits, Enquiries and Protocol team in various outreach activities, such as the Europa Open Air concert, Europe Day and Night of the Museums;
  • support the team in updating content and revamping the Visitor Centre;
  • contribute to flagging and analysing issues raised by the public during visits and lectures.

    Qualifications, experience and skills

    Essential: 
  • a bachelor's degree or higher in communications, economics, international relations, business administration, political science, public relations or a similar field;
  • a strong interest in, and understanding of, the ECB’s mission, combined with the ability to explain complex topics in clear language;
  • experience in public speaking and confidence to communicate effectively in front of diverse audiences;
  • a good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package;
  • an advanced (C1) command of both English and German, according to the .

  • an advanced (C1) command of another EU language, according to the .
  • You are curious and eager to learn, and want to further develop your ability to analyse complex information.
