Our ultimate goal is the advancement of our production system. So join an experienced and passionate team working innovatively on a smart production environment. With us, agile transformation goes hand in hand with innovations in the field of predictive maintenance, data analytics and digitalization. You’ll develop data-driven innovations to digitize our production, and create innovative concepts for analysing and simplifying processes to guarantee fast decisions. From the initial sensor data to the final visualization, you’ll be handling innovation cluster data in a variety of analytics projects throughout.

Starting on 1 April 2019, this 18- month opportunity is designed to prepare you for a career in a competitive environment and a guaranteed position at the BMW Group afterwards. You’ll be supported by a mentor, work abroad and build your own invaluable network of global contacts.

You should have.

  • An above-average degree in (economic) computer science, electrical or mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a compareable degree with a specialisation in data science, industry 4.0 or digitalisation.

  • At least six months of relevant practical work experience in Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics or Industry 4.0.

  • At least four months experience of studying, working or travelling abroad.

  • A track record of participating in extracurricular activities.

  • Fluency in German and English (additional languages would be advantageous).

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • Distinctive transformation ability and talent for strategic thinking and implementation.

  • A passion for innovative solutions that will shape the production system of the future.
