As Trainee Engine Development (f/m) you help bring innovative, efficient, emissionsfree and reliable engines for conventional and hybrid vehicles to the road, in order to ensure driving pleasure for our customers.

If you’ve got the drive to turn your visions into reality, we’re looking for you! Starting on 1 April 2019, this 18- month opportunity is designed to prepare you for a career in a competitive environment and a guaranteed position at the BMW Group afterwards. You’ll be supported by a mentor, work abroad and build your own invaluable network of global contacts.

You should have.
  • An above-average degree in engineering with a focus on automotive engineering, thermodynamic or comparable disciplines.
  • At least six months of relevant practical experience in the field of engineering or engine development preferably in the automotive environment (study-related or professional).
  • Affinity to emission standards and legal issues.
  • At least four months of experience of studying, working or travelling abroad.
  • Fluency in German and English (additional languages would also be advantageous).
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Very good analytical skills.
  • A passion for innovative solutions that will shape the vehicles of the future.
