As a Trainee Purchasing Software (f/m) you will make sure to achieve the economic best in terms of cost, quality, capacities and innovations for the BMW Group. Your portfolio of purchased parts includes on-board software in the digital value chain, such as infotainment, navigation and advanced driver assistance systems. You should have:

  • An above-average degree in economics, business informatics, computer science or a comparable degree.
  • At least six months of relevant practical experience preferably in purchasing and/or embedded systems (study-related or professional).
  • At least three months experience of studying, working or travelling abroad.
  • Fluency in German and English (additional languages would also be advantageous).
  • A track record of participating in extracurricular activities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A strong strategic and analytical mind.
  • Drive, determination and a willingness to take on responsibility.
